Notre Voyage

The movers are loading boxes onto the truck. Packing them into crates like sardines where they'll make the long and slow journey overseas to France. Since our computer is on that truck, we are just on our laptop for the next couple of months so I can't access my old blog. I needed to start a new one anyway as iCloud will soon be replacing MobileMe and I won't be able to use my Mac blog site in a few months anyway. This last 7 months in Monterey has been difficult but so many great times, too. We are actually still waiting on our Visas (though the applications were submitted over 8 weeks ago) and if they don't come in this week, we won't be flying out on Saturday as planned.....we'll just live out of suitcases in a hotel until the Visas come through. The French Embassy passport/visas division is sssllllooooowwwwwww. We've done all we can do on our end, though, and we will just go where the wind (military) takes us! Er, makes us! So, BOOKMARK this page; it's what I'll be using to document our French adventures. That is, if we ever make it there :)
